Things didn’t go as planned during the Real Housewives of Atlanta reunion, at least according to Andy Cohen. The Bravo host was not happy with what unfolded during the reunion and almost walked off set after feeling like everyone was ganging up on Kim Zolciak – and the drama didn’t end there.
Cohen opened up about what happened on The Jenny McCarthy Show. Cohen admitted that he felt uncomfortable when everyone started ganging up on Zolciak and that he lost control of the conversation. In retrospect, the host wished he would have walked off set, especially when Zolciak failed to defend herself.
Cohen also talked about the controversial chat he had with Zolciak off-set. During their conversation, the Don’t Be Tardy star fired back at the racist accusations and told Cohen that he should have asked positive questions about her life.
Looking back, Cohen confessed that he should have approached the situation differently but was too exhausted at the time to think properly.
Following the explosive reunion, Zolciak confirmed that she is leaving RHOA. She is expected to continue filming for the next season of Don’t Be Tardy, but it looks like her time on RHOA is officially over.
In addition to Cohen’s comments, Zolciak shared her thoughts on exactly what happened during the reunion. In an extended rant on social media, Zolciak blasted her co-stars for ganging up on her and claimed that NeNe Leakes actually tried to kick her on set.

She also says Leakes targeted her family by making fun of her husband and children. Zolciak may be finished with RHOA, but it looks like her beef with Leakes will continue on.
Speaking of Leakes, she has responded to Cohen’s comments about the reunion. The RHOA star blasted Cohen for sticking up for Zolciak and assured fans on social media that Zolciak deserved getting ganged up on during the reunion. Zolciak also asked why nobody stuck up for her when she experienced a similar situation at the end of season seven.
Leakes’ drama with Zolciak kicked into high gear after her daughter, Brielle, shared a video she took inside of Leakes’ new mansion. The clip showed bugs crawling around in Leakes’ bathroom, which naturally didn’t go over well.
In response, Leakes blasted Brielle on social media, which sparked a response from Kim Zolciak. Based on what happened during the reunion, it doesn’t look like the two are going to resolve their differences any time soon.
The RHOA will return with a new season later this year on Bravo.
